This is my Pyro girl. Her names Penelope, though admittedly I forgot that for a while and just kept calling her Kenny cause... I call all Pyro's Kenny. (cause ya know the whole 'Mprh hurr durr mrph mprh' thing and the fact that they die a lot) And she is uguu for the Scout.

I have yet to be able to produce a substantial picture of my Pyro. I have only ever been able successfully draw her in this cutesy doodle form. It's rather frustrating. :Y but whatever DOODLES (her hips are wide. HIPS THAT COULD KILL A MAN!)

And these are the two character from the comic that me and my friend have been working on for about 3 years now.(these are my most recent pictures of these two characters. They aren't the best, but that's mostly cause right now I'm playing around with the style as me and my co-author try to decide which type of style would be more suited to the comic)
This is Kyreeh. She's a master thief, and also a vampire. WHOO. She is blasian and is known by the public as 'The Ankh', cause she leaves a little card with an Ankh on it in place of what she's stolen. She cocky and arrogant and likes to mess with the humans. (and their silly faulty security systems) The main human she likes to mess with is Detective Anna VanTrouph. Her main target is museums and she is loosely based on my co-author. (visually)

This is Anna. She is a legitimate detective but not many are sure how she managed to get that rank. Basically as soon as she got the title, she began neglecting her work. The main obsession of her life is the paranormal, and her main goal is to catch Kyreeh. Most people think her paranormal-ism is crazy, but she knows she's right. (And hey, this time she actually is) She's a hopeless nerdy child of a deceased police officer who has romanticized fantasies of the detective life. (even going so far as to actually wear a tie, trench coat and fedora when on the job) Originally Anna was not in the comic, and Kyreeh's main foe was another master thief. He's still there, but we figured that SOMEONE in law enforcement would be out to catch her, so we added this crazy chick. Anna is loosely based on me. (mostly visually. I love detectives too.) (she's a chub, but the coat makes it hard to tell)

Dear non-existant readers and fellow bloggers alike,

I've been trying to figure out how to start up my comicpress site for A Work in Progess and the other comics that will be published there once me and my multiple partners get more stuff prepared.

I'm so stupid, I'm having such a hard time figuring it out. Is there anyone out there that can give me a simple step by step on how to get started?
I already have WordPress and ComicPress downloaded, and I already have my comics. (my... crappy... crappy.... pencil comics), all I need is brain dead simple directions.
I've always been horrible at readin manuals and directions to set up things. It always works much better if you have starting points to go from (like, directions for people who already have the basic programming downloaded), and then 1 step, 2 step directions with pictures cause I truly am just that clueless.

anywho, I'm still going to be posting them here and on my DA (not that anyone will read this hahah :3 )
Been reading lots of comics, working on a couple too.

I've recently been feeling my ....hmm, I wanna say worthlessness but that's not the right word?
Obsolution? No, that would mean I was at the top and got surpassed. I have so not even seen the cliff that you rest on before continuing to the top.

...-leans back in her chair and glares up at the ceiling. No, seriously. I'm really doing that now-
I've begun to realize my fail. My over all, overwelming fail.... ness...ness.
I just,
it's just,

I see people,
people in the professional world,
people not in the professional world,
and they all seem to do just fine.
There's always these stories of people finding other people who want to do what they want to do just as bad as they want to do it and actually getting together and,--ya know--
DOING IT!
Kindered spirits.
People to help you with these sorts of things so you don't feel overwhelmed and aren't going at it all alone.

But I have had a seriously lack of these so called kindered spirity types. And all I have yet to find is people made of words and not of actions.
I mean, the stories supposed to go "Oh, I really liked doing this and wanted to meet some people so I joined this club where I met him and we started talking and we did some stuff and it was cool and we kept on doing it cause we loved it and now we're here telling you this story, isn't that great?"
But so far, my story goes more like,
"Oh I went to this club to maybe make some new friends and get some people who can do things that I can't do so I could have a partner in this and we can both have creative ideas and shake up each others creative ideas to come up with a whole bunch of new creative ideas and do some really cool stuff to to have something cool that we did to show people and just cause it's fun, but I went to the club and everyone was just a lot of talk and wasn't really interested in actually DOING anything, not just saying my ideas, but doing anything at all, and those who were doing things aren't taking them as far as they could to make it the best and I'm frustrated cause they could be so amazing and have something really great on their hands but they don't wanna really go past the block and they don't see past the horizon cause they're lazy or scared or maybe just pigheaded or busy or whatever, so I'm left alone desperately needing a team or at least one other person who can be something other than just more words with lots of fuel but no flame and I keep searching but they've still all come up empty. ...and it makes me very sad."

......GOD. Such a long story. ...And just, all, one... giantic run on sentence too.
Welp, there you go english teachers of America(or any other country who speaks or writes in english and some how found their way to this crap of a blog,) have fun fixing this mess. :)

ranty story short.

I am alone. There is no one that I have found yet whom has a similar fire in their belly as I have in mine,
and something that could possibly be great, is left, gathering dust on the shelf, as just an unexcuted idea, or maybe even, a nothing at all.
-sigh-

On a somewhat realited side note,
I've been thinking of recording some songs.
No, not any of my own.
If I wait for one of my songs to be finished enough to a decent recording stage, I think I might be waiting forever. ...And by then, my voice will have dried up from a lack of real use, and my vocal chords will be off key and rough as dust from neglect. ...and the guitar ain't looking too hot either.

No, I'm meaning recording something that's already been written,
kareoke style,
getting someone who might know the song to play the tone with me,
something of that sort,
and just, just,
get myself singing again.
Because I used to sing all the time.
In front of actual people, some small crowds, ANYBODY.
I used to perform. Even if it was just a dinky school choir.
It was regular singing, regular performing, regularl being musically active.
And I miss it.
So I want to record. Maybe put it up on YouTube, link it to my DA, post it on one of those audio voice acting sites and maybe sending it to someone to see if I can maybe get a really lousey, really low pay singing job or voice acting job to lend my vocal chords to something no one will ever hear like a radio play over the internet, or a commercial for a local broadcasting staition. (Which btw, I don't even really need to get paid. I'd probably do most of any for that stuff for free. Just anything to get me singing again and get my voice heard. Even if it's only to like, five people.)

Anyways.
I know, I'm being weird again.
and I'm typing a whole lot.

Hi everyone. Haven't posted in a while.

Well, I'm afraid there's really not much to talk about. Nothing too exciting happening. Nothing really good, nothing EXTREMELY bad.

My biffle's a little down of lates, but I think that's about as bad as it gets. (which is pretty sucky actually)

But yeah, aside from that.

As far as my personal life goes, nothing much is happening.
I've put my comics on a brief hiatis. Not goin' anywhere, just trying to catch up on all of the other stuff I've been neglecting.
I finally started posting stuff again on my DA. Mostly crappy doodles but hey, at least it's something.
God, I feel really tired right now.

I hope to start doing my art more seriously. Make it look better just i general and not just scan in and post crap.
...I know I've been saying that for a while now, but this time I actually mean it.(and I believe that time has shown us that it takes quite a while of me saying I'm going to do something before I ACTUALLY do it. ...But then it's freaking awesome. :3 hahaha )

anyways, I got a few artistic projects on the brain. As well as some comic-y ones too. (I've started collaberting with other people now and it's pretty great. The problem is getting some good solid time to actually just sit down and do it all. I feel like that's how I might end up spending my up coming break. Which is perfectly fine with me. It'd actually be rather prefered. OMG, ME?! Actually getting stuff DONE?! That yould be a thanksgiving miracle~~ HAHA!)

At any rate.
I'm currently right now at the time sitting in my printing graphics class. Today's our last day to finish all the steps in our project, but I've already got all my stuff done. Yey me! Whoo! Free day!

Hello all, (all being my delightful nonexistent readers. And if I do have readers... HI! :D )

....wow, just reading over that I'm thinking, that's just way to boring. NO WONDER MY READERS ARE IMAGINARY!

Anywho,
I've recently felt the urge to expand my artistic horizons by polishes and maybe even gaining some new skills. A task that was swiftly thwarted by the fact that I couldn't find my tablet pen.
-sigh- there's just so many things wrong with this right here that I might not even wanna try to list.

But at any rate, I've also been thinking about expanding my written horizons as well. Cause frankly, it recently came to my attention that I'm a hack.

God! I just usually end up writing other peoples fan fiction! And first it was just a fun exercise and a chance to get noticed by someone. ANYONE! Just so I could get some feed back. Or I guess, more feedback. From an audience of more varity. I know what my friends like. I know what my mom likes. If I wanted to, I could probably write a story that they'd absolutely love. But I'm not writing just for them. Or really, not for them at all. I'm writing for my own purposes. Which tends to fall back into the field of me just, really really wanting to entertain people. To give them something to enjoy. I'm not saying that I don't appreciate my friend's and family's feed back, or that they don't ever surprise me in anyway. I'm just saying that I've come to know them so well, that I can sometimes predict what their general reaction is gonna be. And they probably know what I've written about.
I just basically need some fresh response is all. Again, that's not to say I'd stop going to my parents and my friends for input. I love and respect their insight into my work, and even when I probably live miles away and am working on a comic or cartoon or book or whatever the hell I damn well end up working on, their probably the first people I'll call, the first people to see it before anyone else does, and at some times, probably the only people whose opinions I care about. Because they're just so damn near to my heart. <3~

Anywho. My plan so far is this;
I'm going to finish off some of the stuff I'm writing for other people because I feel as though I owe it to them and they've just always been so patience. (after all, they are my friends too. Maybe not as close as the ones right next to me, but friends none the least! D< )
Then once that's done, I'm just going to drive head first into my own work. Comics, drawing, writing, WHATEVER! My own characters, my own ideas, my own damn stuff. And I'm going to start breathing so much life and creativity into other peoples characters and give some TCL to my own sweet babies. I feel like for the first time in my life tho, I'm starting to honestly take the initiative into this. (maybe not the thing I most need to put my enthusiasm in, but it's definitely important) And I feel like just this gigantic leap into dark shark infested waters is really just the first big step for me. I'm finally working on getting stuff done. And that's a pretty grand strand in the right direction I think. (some out there who aren't reading this at all yet still somehow seem to know the contents of my page without even visiting my page might be thinking, "hey. getting started and actually doing something is no big leap. it's not that big of a deal." Yeah, well, for me it is. I can't really explain WHY. But just know, that it really is something for me. I guess all those years of gentle torment from my peers has finally sunken in and is actually starting to take a negative toll on me. I'm afraid of being hated. Because I know honestly what it's like, and I didn't think it was very funny. It's lonely at the bottom. In the shadows. in the dark. And now that I've managed to so easily get into the light and have been welcomed by a few kindly beings, I'm terrified of going back into the dark. Scared of turning numb. Cause that's the only way to escape the bitter cold. I like being so damn happy. I like seeing smiles. Like I said before, I like to know I've made people happy that day. That I made them feel something. That I have actually entertained them. So smiles and laughter, they really are like a drug to me. I'm addicted to happiness. I can't get enough of it. And I'd like to know that I helped someone else get addict to it too. If only for a day. But I guess I'm still just paranoid about the whispers in the dark areas you can't see on stage. Those hateful words that just seem to be bitter and mean for the lone sake of being bitter and mean. Those truly are my bane. My slowly, life zapping poison. And I've never been able to truly escape them.) (...WOW, the parenthesis was long! :D Hahaha)

So anyways yeah.
I feel like now, after this sort of, long onward droning sad sack of wet puppies seems like the best time to say,
I've been thinking about doing stand up.
-enter awkward chuckle track here-

Not as an actual profession mind you. Just kind of a whim~
Just another swan dive off height frightening places to help me along with things. Plus, I really do just LOVE performing.
I would be at a con though. Nerdy aimed humor. Written a few jokes about pokemon that my friend of good taste says was good. Of course before I take such a DARING leap I'm going to test it out on my dear dear friends at manga club. Cause trying nerd jokes out on my other friends would most likely prove... ineffective.

I also started drawing some comics featuring an old idea I had and am just now getting around to.
(hopefully he'll get a good reaction and we'll all see more of him. Even if the reaction to him flat lines, I'll probably still make more comics of him. Cause god damnit, he's just fun to do. ....HEY! SOMETIMES I NEED TO BE THE ONE I ENTERTAIN, ALRIGHT! Hell, If I can't find something that makes me laugh, lord knows I'll be useless at making YOU laugh.)

A list of other things I'm hoping to dip my foot into this year (just cause it's stuff that I don't plan to completely commit to, but stuff I've always really wanted to do);
-one is to record my voice. Singing and maybe a bit of speaking. Just to try and see if I can get a gig dubbing anything. (tho the singing is more just cause, I love to sing and I've been told I have a nice voice. One of my friends actually told me something that was basically along the lines of "screw art! Go into singing! You have the voice of a fucking angel!! D< " haha, good I love her <3 ~ )
-Then there's the stand up that we've talked about. And I wanna try and get cast in something. Just a random play, but I really wanna just, like, BE in one, ya know. Came veeeeery close on a few occasions, but no dice.)
-then there's the comics. I definitely wanna do more of those! :3 (I'm also trying to get better at my art skills since I'm goin' at it anyways)
-And tops on my list is start doing more animation of things. I actually really wanted to start this kinda crappy animation series to post on YouTube. It would have basically ended up looking like Daniel Flloyd's work. Not the best, but classy none the least. Though I just found out something today that's gonna put a kink in my plan. Not a stopper mind you, but it is gonna make it much harder. (But I swear to you all by all that is good, you WILL see something of that type coming from me come the end of the year!! D< )
-And then there's the final things which is another web series, except this ones not animated. My two biggest problems so far are, writing (trying to think up a few more ideas so this thing has a least a CHANCE of staying a float. plus, I've been trying to get like minded and rather funny friends to help write the scripts cause I'd know that we'd love it and that they would be of greater quality then. But getting people together over summer is HAAARD. D: they're all away on holidays and stuff.) and then there's casting. (UGH. Don't even wanna start.... --3-- )

so alot to do, but I finally got some fire in my belly (or is that just earl grey tea?) so I plan to get the job done!! >D oh hellz yeah!

So anyways. That post was really long. Random long post huzzah hooray! But I'm honestly gonna try and avoid posting here till I get to the end of the week and stuff. (since this is weekly now) Mainly to escape this sort of thing happening again. -points up at all the scolding hot sad face she just poured on all of your laps-( hehe, sorry. ^^; Didn't really mean to do that... )

Well, guess it's witching hour now!
Time to make my daily post!

Well, one special thing happened today. I talked, voice to voice over the phone with my dearest friend Megan whom I haven't talked to without using text or IM in FOREVER.

And you wanna know what,
it felt damn good.

I also watched an episode of the Simpsons on Hulu that I had already watched before. But this time, I noticed a whole bucket load of jokes I had missed. It. Was. AWESOME.
And I watched a family guy I HADN'T seen that had-- -gasp!- CRAIG FERGUSON in it!!!

Omg, I love Craig Ferguson. He really is my fav. I swear I totally flipped when I saw that clip of him that I,... I dunno. I honestly just smiled real big with my mouth agape in happy shock. That plus that wonderful conversation with my bestest best friend, MADE MY FRIKKIN DAY.

Not much to post about.

It's all gonna depend on a lot of things over the next couple a days, but soon I should be done with summer school! Yey!

I'll get my... week or so of summer! yeah!

School means friends, friends mean associates and all this means projects are on the way!

The worst has happened, and I still can't believe it.

I actually had frightening mental chills just before I got the news. They warned me of bad things that were coming.

I just really wanna go see Megan soon. I had actually hoped to see her on happier terms since we hadn't seen each other in a while. But now that the worst has, in fact, come to past, I just wanna go see her.
So called best friends should be there when these kind of tragedies happen.(And I'm really starting to feel like a crappy friend. And I hate it)

Welp!
I missed my post yesterday.
Some much for posting everyday. That lasted about two days.

I realized I forgot around 1 am and just went, "damn."

Anywho, the only thing I would have to say about yesterday is that I had a headache ALLLLLL day. And that I actually went out with my mom a bit. Yey!
for those who don't know, I'm 17. The only reason I'm talking about going out with my mom so much is cuz I'm really just trying to get out of the house. God I'm sick of this place. It's summer and I've only gone out 3 times at all.

And my computer is still broke TT____________TT

I tried to find a bit of writing that alot of people who have read my work many times before had absolutely loved and gave a good reaction to late last night.
I shifted through about a year and a half of papers and still nothing. Damn. I'm gonna check for the fifth time laster when I'm more awake and have more space to spread stuff out on.

I WILL find it DAMNIT! D<
and when I do I'll post it. :3

Listened to some audio files Jhonen Vasquez speaking at a comic con a few years back. He's a very funny man. ^^

where it start?

Really, I...I don't know! Todays just been like, a giantic blur to me. I don't remember what time I did anything today, I really didn't get anywhere with anything.

It was like time was a sneakily flowing river and I was just floating along paying the world no nevermind till BAM! I'm a half an hour late to see my mom.
Crap.

anywho. If I hadn't had that bam later on in the day, then this probably would have been one of those kinds of days you loose. You know, the kinda days where you realize like, a day a two later that you don't remember getting up that morning or going to bed that night or what the hell you dd in between those two points. (AND NO, I wasn't drunk! D< ...just for anyone who was thinking that)

I guess that's really all I have to say about today. That I don't have anything to say.

Yesterday I decided that I'm going to try and post here everyday. I would have yesterday but I couldn't find the time nor did I have much to write about.

Still don't really have anything. I guess this whole thing will probably end up being writing exercises for me, and to see how many days in a row I can type up something witty.
Probably not many. Even witty has it's limits. :(

anywho.
Right now it feels like my summer fun, or any chance of some here after, has kind of died. What I'm really missing at this point is my full computer. Right now I'm on the mini (laptop), so I can get on the internet which is nice.
But, well, lately I've been kinda puttering my mnd around many of those projects I keep talking about. Video editing, dgital coloring skills and some chances to polish up my animation skills are all suffering here. And since I basically have NONE of any of those, I need all the extra time working on those skills as can.
Mainly what I miss is scanning in my art an posting on DA. I mean, sure, it's not as though I've totally died on there. Journal enteries and talking with people and what not. But I've just been so absent lately artistically over there. Tho not in real life. I'm still drawing up a strom. But I just can't share it or post it or get feed back. The last time I posted I had at that point I had already been absent for a really long time and had a huge pile of stuff to scan. Now I'm forced to be absent again and the pile is just getting BIGGER. Ugh.
And also,
I've been thinking alot about finally getting one of my comics in the works. I actually started designing some of the characters that had been design-less for a while, and before I actually start the comic, I really want to get everyone designed and have a few pages of clean, colored references for them all. Mainly so I can show people wants in store.
But since I can't scan stuff in, let alone get into photoshop to color and work more on my lack of skills in that program.

Look, I'm not saying that if I did have my computer up I'd be coloring all the time and working non stop on everything. I know I probably wouldn't. But I just really miss the opition. See, without the ablity to do all this stuff when ever I so please, I can't take advanage of my enuthusiasum. I come home feeling really pumped about doing some of this stuff and getting some of it done, but I can't. I no longer have the opition.

To be perfectly honest, if I didn't have home access to the internet, I'd probably have gone to raging babbling pieces by now.

I have a whole lot more going on, but the Simpsons is on and I don't feel like doing more, so I'll save it for other posts.

I haven't posted here in FO EVA!

I'm thinking that I might start up again.

Not too much going on right now. To be perfectly honest, my computer system is down. Right now I'm on the laptop.
Right now I'm in summer school and that's going... aaaaas well as it can go.

But the big news is that I plan to start up some real projects as soon as school gets going. I'm currently talking to some different people and putting together a small team. Hopefully this will all work out smoothly (more or less)and I'll be able to share the fun.
